Why would anyone in their right mind resist progress?

Two options:

1. They’re dumb
2. They’re afraid of where the progress will lead

Since I consider it a fallacy to assume someone with a competing point of view is “dumb”, we can scratch that off.

Uber has it’s many flaws just like taxis, most problems are different and the ramifications aren’t understood. Let Europe do its thing according to its values, one can decide to move to the US if Uber is such a big part of their lives.
