The thing with quantum is that the state itself kind of ceases to matter, what matters is the interpretation of the observer at a given time.

The cat isn’t actually both dead and alive, it’s either one or the other, but unless you — the observer — checks, you won’t know.

What if you have two cats in the box? Both cats are each other's observers, one cat is able to tell whether or not the other is alive, but for someone outside the box, both cats are in superposition.

I don’t know if my house is burning right now — because of some random electrical fault — so it could theoretically be engulfed in flames, or not. Is it in superposition?
